The TerraForm3D Project is part of the NAU Senior Capstone Computer Science and Engineering Design program for the 1999-2000 academic year.

The goal of the project is to design and develop:

  • a fully functional 3D engine,
  • an interactive, platform independent terrain modeling package that uses a light version of the 3D engine, and takes advantage of the capabilities of a clustered system (multiple computers), and
  • a clustered system composed of IBM-compatible computers.
The TerraForm3D team will present the design and demonstrate the final products at the Capstone Design Conference in April 2000. For more information about the Design Program and the Capstone Design Conference, visit the Design4Practice homepage.
