Bio: My name is Colby Murphy and I am currently a Manufacturing Engineer at Boeing Mesa. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in the Spring of 2023 and moved back down to the valley soon after. I was a part of the 2022-‘23 NAU Boeing Drone Capstone Team and knew I wanted to continue to support the project once as I was hired by Boeing. I am passionate about learning something every single day, no matter how big or how small. I want to challenge the students of the DORIS drone to demonstrate how to research and optimize a product that has already been worked on by multiple engineers before them. Bio: Lane has been a manufacturing engineer at Boeing for twelve years. During this time he has worked on a number of different products from commercial airplanes to defense aircraft. Lane graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2012 with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Lane is excited to work with the capstone team and to give them the opportunity to showcase their skill to the Boeing team.Â
