Bobby came to the Mountain Campus of Northern Arizona University in 1999 to pursue his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers at NAU and was a key component in the resurrection of the SAE program, having served two years as the clubs president. During his tenure as club President, SAE at NAU successfully competed in its first student design competition, the Mini-Baja West race. The success at this competition quickly put the NAU chapter of SAE as the number one student chapter in the state of Arizona |

I was born and raised in Scottsdale Arizona with an older brother and older sister. My parents, both high school teachers, stressed academics and extracariclar activities on us children all through school. I attended Northern Arizona University in 1998 and quickly became involved in Greek Life and NAU's student orientation program. Through my leadership activities, I discovered a desire to persue a degree in engineering. Over the past year, I have become interested in fluid dynamics and am completing a Hooper undergraduate research grant on Indy race car front wings. With this experience and a recent internship at Los Alamos National Laboratories, I hope to continue my engineering experience and attend graduate school in a couple of years. |
