Our project aims to improve the user experience for Generous, helping users remember important dates and simplifying the gift-giving process.
Our solution is to improve the user experience through iterative UX research and design improvements, ensuring that the platform is intuitive, accessible, and delightful for all users. Each iteration will be targeted to specific areas given by the sponsor. We will come up with hypotheses for each iteration and test them with users. We will use the current demo as a starting point for our onboarding improvements and as the project is developed, we will continue to target new additions and provide valuable feedback to the sponsor.
We will use Figma to design and prototype user interfaces based on hypotheses and targeted user needs. This will allow us to iterate on designs and gather feedback before feedback is used to implement changes.
We will conduct A/B testing to compare different versions of features and determine which performs better in terms of user engagement and conversion.
We may use standard web technologies to implement the design improvements if asked of us by the sponsor, focusing on the front end of the platform. Fixing things like onboarding flows and messaging templates.
We will use GitHub to manage our codebase, track issues, and collaborate effectively as a team. This will help us maintain a clean and organized codebase while ensuring smooth collaboration throughout the project. We will also submit all deliverables through GitHub including documents describing each experiment.
The initial concept for this project was provided by our sponsor to address the challenges of gift-giving: remembering dates, selecting the right gifts, and delivering them in a delightful way. Our team works on improving UX flows, front-end components, and testing designs to create a lovable, high-converting experience.
