1. Established Team meeting time - Mondays 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

3. Client teleconference - Issues discussed
• Rich will send a copy of the revised network capture software and any appropriate docs.
• Answered direct questions about project requirements
• Rich will send documents concerning US Software coding style
• Rich will point Team towards web resources that will be useful
• Accepted offer to be included on mailing list
• Set up permanent teleconference time - Tuesdays @ 2:30 p.m.
4. Matt Ericson met with Dr. Collier and obtained information of previous project.

TASKS STARTED

1. John Kobinski has two areas of research:
• Find existing software that is comparable to our design project for comparison and study.
• Find PC based revision control systems
2. Matt Petro will obtain Office97 for consistent record keeping within the Team
3. Matt Ericson will research ethernet packets and their construction
4. Rob Waltz will reaserch ethernet processes and troubleshooting techniques
5. Matt Ericson will approach Dr. Collier to nail down hardware available to the design team.

TASKS DELAYED

1. Generating a software development plan was delayed until the team has a more coherent grasp of the design project.

ISSUES

1. What software development package will the Team use (Visual C++, Borland, etc.)
2. In what environment does the network software run, for simulation efforts
