Parcel Selection
This section evaluates the parcel alternatives for the location of the Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) near the 91st Wastewater Treatment Plant (91st WWTP). This is a valuable section as it will assess what parcel fulfills the determined criteria.
Parcel Alternatives
The two alternatives that were considered were Parcel 101-33-003 and Parcel 101-33-007 seen on the map below. Parcel 101-33-003 was 88-acres and Parcel 101-33-007 had an acreage of 110 acres.

Parcel Scoring Criteria
Each alternative was given a score of one to three. Three was the highest score and one was the lowest score. These scores were based on how well each alternative met the criteria. The following table provides how each criteria was scored with the reasoning. It also provides the reasoning of the weighting for each criteria.
Parcel Decision Matrix
The four criteria used to determine the optimal parcel was accessibility, size, availability, and potential hazard. The assigned score was multiplied to the weight of the criteria and the highest score was determined as the parcel selected. Final Recommendation
Clearwater Jacks Engineering recommends using Parcel 101-33-003 due to the accesibility and availability of the parcel. This parcel is fully available which would not delay construction unlike the opposing parcel which is currently occupied with evaporation ponds used by the WWTP. Parcel 101-33-003 is only 1.5 miles away from Outfall 005 compared to Parcel 101-33-007 which is 2.3 miles away.
